Prosecution by the state of defendant Nicholas Sabala on a charge of statutory rape in violation of sec. 944.10, Stats., upon
an information filed July 9, 1965. The case was tried to the court and jury. Defendant appeals from a judgment finding him
guilty and sentencing him to imprisonment in the Green Bay reformatory under an indeterminate sentence of eighteen months.
An appeal is also taken from the order denying motions of the defendant for a new trial or to set aside the verdict of the
jury. Appellant seeks a reversal of judgment for the reasons:
